I don't get why people look at the Tremoverb through such rose colored glasses. The high gain was the same as any other 2 channel dual and the blues and pushed settings were average at best. May 06, 2016 · MESA/Boogie have simply hit upon one of the best and most flexible clean channel designs of all time and it loses nothing in its Roadster iteration, particularly with the Lonestar-spec spring reverb added via the rear panel knob. Tweed mode is especially addictive in the Roadster, perhaps due to the additional horsepower from the power stage. Mesa amps sound great at lower volumes but every amp is tested and designed more specifically for use in professional applications. This is where the magic of tubes and Mesa amps REALLY happens. Find a barn, rent a rehearsal room, book a gig or do whatever you have to do to experience power-tube influence over your preamp settings.
Jan 07, 2016 · I believe Mesa changed the tone stack to accent the upper middle voice of the guitar to help it to come up forward from the low, sub-octaves and the high 1st and 2nd octaves which are shredded to the point of being a searing layer of sound over the core sound, depending on Presence control settings.

I know how to handle a peavey but i never had a mesa boogie in the studio. Do you have any cool settings to suggest?it will be cool to try some ideas from this forum along with mine.
